About

I am Jill Libramento. I am a writer and a photographer among other things, hence the blog.

Some of my labels are: I’m a member of Generation Jones which means I’m too young to be a hippie or Boomer, but too old to be Gen X. It also means I love the Beatles and Yacht Rock. I am part of the aging Jesus People Movement and still have a bit of that free spirit when it comes to my beliefs. I am an Enneagram 4 which describes me as having to be relentlessly authentic. My personality type is INFJ, one of the rarest types and means I am very intuitive so I know you’re already bored reading this.

I have a degree in Bible and certifications as a: Professional Photographer, National Weather Service Severe Weather Spotter, Knowadays Proofreader and Canva Designer which means I wanted to get to the point without having to go back to college.

Some of the roles I have held in my life have been: Waitress, Magazine Delivery Driver, Newspaper Delivery person, Veterinary Technician, Actor, Improv Actor and Improv Teacher, Church Planter, Christian School Educator, Spiritual Director of said Christian School, Writer, Photographer, Small business owner, Social Media Manager, Typesetter, US Citizenship Tutor, ESOL Tutor, Artist and Etsy Shop owner. So, that means I’ve got some good stories.

I have extensive experience in dealing with jacked-up family situations, death of family and friends, narcissists and their games, anxiety, panic, and wrestling with issues of faith and how it mixes with real, messy life.

I have now been married for most of my life to the same guy. I have two adult children with their attached spouses whom I love dearly. I have 6 grandchildren who are a joy, want to see photos? (I know you don’t, I have that intuition, remember?) My husband and I are now looking into the unknown world of retirement.

How did I get here so fast?
